Love this place. Relaxed, friendly. We bought 5 containers (liters) of green posole for a party, no problem. Everyone enjoyed it. There have read this all as well. We tried both for us, picked the green. They included chopped cilantro, limes, and salsa with our order. The mole is great. The prices are very reasonable. Example: 4 mole enchiladas on a plate for 125 pesos. I will include a picture of the menu.

Great little place with very tasty food! Reasonable prices and friendly service. Enmoladas were very good and some of the best refried beans I've ever had. The quiet courtyard was a very enjoyable setting with all of the plants. In a city with so many fancy restaurants, it was so nice to find this quaint place to have some quality Mexican food. Would definitely return!

This restaurant offers authentic Mexican food without any frills, just simple, straightforward dishes. The food we had was flavorful and well-prepared, with a real homemade quality. If you're looking for that, a no-nonsense meal with traditional flavors, this is a good spot. However, for me, I enjoy a bit more of the little extras that make dining out special. While the food was good, I probably won't be back soon as I prefer places with more of an experience. If food is your only priority, though, this is worth a visit.

***CASH ONLY*** Talk about a half-hidden local gem! We passed by this place and the lovely courtyard drew us in. There was no sign, but there was a menu taped to the outer wall. They offered gorditas, quesadillas, soup, and a few entrees. He ordered a chorizo gordita and a beef gordita. She came back and told us they were out of beef, so he chose a second chorizo gordita. Hardy and tasty with chopped chorizo and potatoes. 25 pesos each. I ordered the Aztec Soup that came with enchiladas, but she said they were out of enchiladas. It was mid afternoon, long after the lunch crowd, so not surprising. I ordered a chicken quesadilla to accompany my soup. The Aztec Soup arrived first in a large bowl topped with cheese and avocado. It was piping hot and so hearty with lots of chicken in a slightly spicy tomato broth. I highly recommend if you're a soup lover. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty. E en better than the tasty food and the great service was the fabulous courtyard setting. Such a pretty spot to enjoy the sunshine and lunch with lots of flowers and shrubs and even a large tree. Great value and very tasty, authentic food with no frills. No alcohol served here, but there are non-alcoholic drinks options. Highly recommend. 4.8 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
